Report: NNPC Sacked Over 700 Support Staff In 4 Refineries In Nigeria

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has been reported sacked more than 700 support staff in Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna, Abdul said.

On 13th May 2020 the PUNCH Newspaper made a publication that 100 support NNPC staff were sacked.

Some of the sacked workers have taken to social media to debunk the report and claimed it was sponsored by the NNPC, where the Group General Manager, Public Affairs Division, Mr. Kennie Obateru.

They went further to say that the Group General Manager is being economical with the truth or he is trying to deceive the general public because his side of the story is far from the truth.
