“Recent claims circulating on pockets of social media about Bishop T.D. Jakes are unequivocally false and baseless.”

Hora expressed disappointment over the spread of deepfake photos and false representations, emphasizing the need for compassion and care for others, values that Chairman Jakes continues to uphold.

Jakes’ Reputation

At 66, Jakes is a respected married father and grandfather, known for filling arenas worldwide with his sermons, books, and philanthropic work. His reputation as a pillar in the Christian community adds weight to the impact of these allegations.

The allegations gained traction when a TikTok user, jusnene, shared a clip that quickly went viral, amassing over 1.6 million views. This surge in attention made Jakes a trending topic on social media platforms.

Jakes at Diddy’s Party

Adding to the controversy, a video of Jakes attending Diddy’s 53rd birthday party in Los Angeles surfaced, causing a stir on social media. Derrick Williams, executive vice president of TD Jakes Entertainment, clarified that the visit was brief and for business purposes, as Jakes’ sermons are aired on the Revolt Network.

“Any accusation to the contrary is wholly unsubstantiated, unverified, and false,” Williams stated.
