Twitter Catfishing: Lady Scammed People Online With Her Late Auntie’s Photo

A young lady who goes about on Twitter duping people with her late auntie photo has been exposed by Segun Awosanya, SEGALINK.

Follow the report below as it all started.

“Tell them what you did or I will. This is why people no longer care who is dying or leaving suicide notes on Twitter. It’s because of mendacious actions like this that empathy is dying in our society. Explain what U &

Anyone who wants to kill themselves fojng forward should not waste their time leaving a suicide note on Twitter. We have learnt a hard lesson from the youthful syndicate operating on this street. I should have you both arrested but I will leave you to your conscience.”

She tweeted that she was stuck in school in Ekiti and her parents were broke and she had nothing to eat and couldn’t travel. She even said her ID Card is yet to be issued. I publicly said she should go to the market & get all she needs for the month since I’m a father too.”

While at this, someone on the thread posted this from the same handle. Reporting that this fellow has been doing this for a long time under various guises. I asked the handle again and he/she swore that the demand was genuine & this was fake.

It was after the suicide note drama with

since yesterday which she was promoting fervently and playing the Devil’s advocate in, that we connected the dots. I asked MentallyAwareNG
to follow up and they said the guy is not interested unless he gets financial help.”

Since it wasn’t the first time we will be seeing such I asked for the account number and it turned out to be the same used in all the previous scams. We still don’t know who Apata Bolanle Philip is. The earlier post according to the promoter of events for donation was by her.

She claimed she dug up her late Aunty’s picture to raise money for the friend. I want to believe we are dealing with the same individual using multiple accounts. I have all I need to get them arrested and this will be done soonest. Beware of these callous kids on twitter.

At the time of this report, the lady whose Twitter handle is influencerprom4 has deleted her account.
