The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian air defense shot down the Il-76 Russian transport plane in the Vasylkiv district of Kyiv region.

“This is revenge for Luhansk in 2014. Death to the enemies!” – said in a message sighted by Mandy News from the General Staff on Facebook.
According to information gathered by Mandy News, the plane was 20 kilometers from Kyiv. On board: 100+ paratroopers.
