Police Recover N34m Cash Linked To Uromi Robbery (Photos)

The Uromi police department confirmed that they have recovered N34 million in cash from fleeing armed robbers who attacked Uromi banks on Thursday.

The millions of cash were recovered on Friday, hours after one of the cars went off the middle of the road.

According to the police in a statement release as sighted by Mandy News.

Some of the vehicles suspected to have been used in the Uromi bank robbery operation of February 24, 2022 were seen at Oruen Quarters and Ubiaja bush mine operations of February 24, 2022.

The Dpo Ubiaja mobilized three patrol teams, accompanied by chief John Odijie, the oniha of Uromi, and others, to the station. 

What the police said

“One of the cars they took from someone has security,the car went off at the middle of the road which caused the robbers to abandon the car.”

It was said that the robbers could not take all the cash so they left some money and abandoned the car there.
