A Fourth of July celebration in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park on Monday saw the Parade Illinois Shooting, and the footage of the incident has since gone viral.
According to authorities, the shooting resulted in the deaths of six persons and the critical injuries of roughly 24 more.
Three of the popular videos of the incident were obtained by MandyNews.com.
The first video shows a large number of Americans parading before the attacker starts shooting at the gathering.
Police reports indicate that the gunman was firing from a rooftop.
A parade witness, whose name is Michael Schwartz, said, “I saw the shooter.” I saw his gun. I had a good look at this guy. He was not on a rooftop.”
In the second video, citizens can be seen running while the shooter was busy shooting spasmodically.
The third video shows the young man being apprehended by cops while waiting in traffic.
In the footage, armed officers can be seen driving up to the car with their weapons drawn and yelling at the driver to get out. It was observed that the driver was raising his hands.
