Police have identified the person they believe is responsible for the mass shooting that happened on Monday morning at a Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois.
According to ABC News, Robert E. Crimo, a 22-year-old who is “believed to be driving a 2010 silver Hyundai,” has been identified as a “person of interest.”
A person who may be engaged in a criminal investigation but has not yet been apprehended or formally charged with a crime is referred to as a “person of interest” by law enforcement in the United States.
