The News: The law enforcement agency in Ogun State has announced the arrest of Waheed Ijiyemi, who was allegedly on his way to carry out a robbery operation
What happened: The suspect was apprehended while DPO Onipanu Division, CSP Bamidele Job, was on routine patrol with his men and spotted the suspect on an unregistered Bajaj motorcycle, according to DSP Abimbola Oyeyimi, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command. As soon as the suspect saw the officers, he got off his bike and ran. He was pursued and apprehended after a long chase.
