On the subject of Putin’s nuclear assault warning, the US president responded. Additionally, he mentioned climate change and the world’s food insecurity.
President Joe Biden stated that the Vladimir Putin-led Russian government invaded Ukraine in violation of the fundamental UN membership principles and that Moscow was making “irresponsible” nuclear war threats.
He said this on September 21 when delivering a speech before the UN General Assembly in New York.
The West had already received nuclear warnings from Vladimir Putin. The Russian president said in a live speech, “This is not a bluff. Along with that, Putin declared that he will call up some 300,000 reserve people to join the Russian military in Ukraine.
Despite Putin’s assertions to the contrary, according to Biden, no one has threatened Russia, and only Moscow has tried to engage in war.
He referred to Putin by saying, “The war in Ukraine is a one-man war. He pledged support from the US for Ukraine.
The American continued by invoking Russia and China in his warning about the perils of purchasing nuclear weapons.
“A nuclear war cannot be won and must never happen,” Biden said.
