It’s a beautiful Wednesday court orders ASUU to end strike.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been ordered by the National Industrial Court to end its current strike.

Remember that the seven-month duration of the strike was reported by MANDY NEWS.

The court granted the Federal Government’s request for an order of suspension against the teaching staffs on Wednesday, September 21, citing section 18 of the Trade Dispute Act and the national interest of the Nigerian students.

In a decision on a federal government application seeking that university professors be forced to return to work awaiting the fulfillment of their demands for better working conditions, Justice Polycap Hamman issued the order suspending the strike.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities in Nigeria (ASUU) has been on strike since February 14, 2022.

We hope they follow the court’s directive.
