San Francisco, CA – Bob Lee, the creator of the popular mobile payment service Cash App, was found fatally stabbed early Tuesday morning, April 4th, near downtown San Francisco.

NBC reported that the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) responded to a stabbing victim around 2:35 a.m. on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, officers found Lee suffering from multiple stab wounds outside a high-rise building on the 300 block of Main Street in the Rincon Hill neighborhood.
Lee was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
