Abba Kyari’s bail application was denied by the court.
The application for bail submitted by suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sunday J. Ubua, was denied by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
They’ve been charged with five other people in connection with illegal narcotics activities.
In a judgement issued Monday morning, Justice Emeka Nwite stated that the prosecution has presented adequate evidence to the court to justify the denial of bail to both senior police officials.
Inspector Simon Agirgba and Inspector John Nuhu, the 4th and 5th accused, are being read their bail applications by the judge.
