EFCC has arrested one Mannir Hamza Ahmed in Lagos for being in ownership of nineteen wraps of uncooked gold.
The suspect, who’s being investigated for an alleged case of conspiracy, illegal mining and export of mineral sources, became arrested, the day past, March 1, 2019 aboard an Emirates flight to Dubai, following intelligence file received with the aid of the Commission.
At the point of his arrest, the Commission located 19 wraps of gold in his bags. The suspect neither offered any proof of assertion of the gadgets nor fee of royalties to the Federal Government.
