A trending news is about George Bush assassination attempt.
There’s a viral report on social media, first reported by Forbes, of a man known as Shihab Ahmed who was arrested by the FBI.
The man was arrested while planning to assassinate the former president of the United States, George W. Bush.
The suspect, Ahmed, is an Iraqi man who lived in Columbus, Ohio.
The report says the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested him after he was caught planning to smuggle 4–6 people from Iraq into the United States through the Mexico border to kill former President George W. Bush.
The Forbes magazine article says the FBI found out the man’s plan through an informant and WhatsApp conversation.
According to NBC Ken, the physical threat to George Bush was low because the court documents show Shihab was talking to an FBI confidential informant and was under some form of surveillance.
