The Ghost of Kiev is the name given to a single Ukrainian fighter pilot flying a Ukrainian air force mig-29, who’s reportedly shot down two Russian su-35s, one Russian su-27, one Russian mig-29, and two Russian su-25s all in the space of 30 hours, which is practically unheard.
Ghost Of Kyiv Jet Type
The Mig-29, a fighter aircraft built by the Soviet Union, first flew in 1977 and was introduced in 1982. Over 1,600 of the aircraft have been built since then, but only a small number are in service with the Ukrainian air force, which has 37 in total. Eight of these have previously been used for training, but there is a possibility that those eight have now been transferred to the main fighting force as fighting in Ukraine rages on.
