Men of the Nigeria Police and Okada riders on Wednesday engaged in a face-off at Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos State over the ban of Okada (
A LASTMA operational van was seen set ablaze after violent disturbance broke out at Iyana Ipaja on Wednesday, February 5, 2020.
According to Greg Dike, an eye witness says;
“I live at Iyana Ipaja as well my G.. I saw how it started till the police made it a war as usual.. on Hong Kong not Singapore last year, (I keep getting this countries mixed up) here is what the police commissioner had to say”
BoyNextDoor added that “And that’s the exact reason for the riot. Iyana Ipaja isn’t listed among the major road areas motorcyclist where banned. Why go their streets to make arrests? If not for selfish reasons of the law enforcement agents.”
