It’s the Same Old Story

In Nigeria, our leaders seem to love a good blame game. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is now focusing on Godwin Emefiele, the former Central Bank boss, just like his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, did with Diezani Alison-Madueke. But let’s ask ourselves: Is this really about fixing problems or just pointing fingers?

Remember Buhari’s Time?

Buhari spent a lot of time chasing after Alison-Madueke, saying she was part of the corruption problem. Sure, fighting corruption is great, but many of us started wondering if this was more about looking busy than actually getting things done.

Now, It’s Tinubu’s Turn

Fast forward, and it looks like President Tinubu is doing the same thing with Emefiele. We have to ask: Is this really going to help us, or is it just another round of the blame game?

What About the Real Issues?

Let’s face it, Nigeria has some big challenges – our economy needs a boost, we need better security, and our roads and schools could use some serious work. We need actions that make our lives better, not just headlines about who’s to blame for what.

Blame Won’t Fix Things

Chasing after past leaders might make for good news, but it doesn’t fix our roads or create jobs. It’s like being stuck in traffic and blaming the car in front of you – it doesn’t get you moving any faster.

Time for Real Action

What we really need is for our leaders to focus on making things better. Let’s see some plans for more jobs, safer streets, and schools our kids can be proud of. That’s what will make Nigeria a better place, not just chasing after people who used to be in charge.

Let’s Move Forward

We deserve leaders who do more than just blame the past. We need people who are going to roll up their sleeves and make things better now. It’s time to stop looking back and start moving forward. After all, a country is only as good as what it’s doing today, not what it’s blaming on yesterday.
