Court Sentences Uduak Akpan To Death For Murder Of Iniubong Umoren

The murder of Iniubong Umoren, a philosophy graduate from the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom state, was sentenced to be executed by hanging by the Akwa Ibom State High Court on Thursday.

Your favorite blog, MANDYNEWS.com, reported that Uduak Akpan, the person suspected of killing Iniubong Umoren, had admitted to killing her on July 26, 2021.

On April 30, 2021, Umoren was discovered dead after being reported missing in April of that year.

It was said that a potential job opportunity was what drew her to meet the suspect.

The culprit was captured by the state police command in response to widespread criticism from the public.

The judge ruled that Akpan would be hanged to death.
