“Your Sermon is Worse Than Kidnapping,” Ahmad Gumi tells a suspended imam in Abuja.
We brought you up to speed yesterday with the news of Shiekh Nuru Khalid, the Chief Imam of Apo Legislative Quarters Mosque in Abuja, who said during a sermon that President Muhammadu Buhari had failed Nigerians.
He informed Buhari. You’ll recall your videos in which you claim to be a former general. You’re going to battle terrorists and defend Nigerians’ lives, but in reality, lives have become meaningless in comparison to when you weren’t President.
This is Gumi’s assessment of the situation.
During an interview with DAILY POST, Islamic scholar Ahmad Abubakar Gumi advised Shiekh Nuru Khalid, the suspended Imam in Abuja, that his sermon is worse than kidnapping.
“It’s a case of sentiments overwhelming intelligence,” Gumi told Daily Post journalists on Monday.
According to Ahmad Abubakar Gumi, “Calling on the people not to vote out inept governments through mass voting is worse than a few kidnappings and a faulty judgment”.
