At Trademore Estate in Lugbe, Abuja, Department of State Services (DSS) personnel are said to have arrested two alleged terrorists.

This arrest happened a short while after the United States and the United Kingdom had issued travel recommendations alerting their citizens living in Nigeria to the danger of terrorist acts in the Federal capital territory.

Based on the information gathered by MandyNews, according to reports, security personnel locked the estate’s entrance and exit gates while the operation was ongoing. 

The two suspects, who are reportedly brothers, were apprehended on terrorism-related charges, according to information we’ve obtained.

Chairman Of The Estaste

A report about the Department of State Services (DSS) personnel and some American soldiers apprehending two suspected terrorists in Abuja was seen on the Cable News by Mandy News.

The incident was described by Adewale Adenaike, the chairman of phase 3 of Trademore Estate in the Federal capital territory.

In the now viral report, Adenaike claimed that on Monday, security personnel shut the estate’s gates in order to halt vehicle traffic.

The neighborhood chairman, who said he wasn’t around first when law enforcement officials arrived, claimed he was notified by the authorities that they were looking for a resident who was suspected of “terrorist activities.”

According to Mr. Adenike, the suspect was taken into custody in a duplex in the estate that was used as a family’s home’s boys’ quarters.

Abuja Terrorists

A recent trend of travel warnings from the United States and the United Kingdom alerted their residents living in Nigeria to the danger of terrorist strikes in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The US embassy issued a travel advisory on Sunday, stating that there is a high risk of terrorist strikes in the Abuja.

The evacuation of “non-emergency” personnel and their families from Nigeria was announced two days later by the US State Department.

Another viral report claimed that Joe Biden authorized the evacuation of US citizens and embassy personnel from Abuja due to a potential terrorist assault.

American citizens flying out of Nigeria are shown in a now viral video that was recorded at the airport.
